StoreVision Privacy Policy
Effective date: 26 August 2026
StoreVision is a business field-operations application published on Google Play under the developer name ByteEx Software. StoreVision is provided to participating business tenants and their authorized adult users. Technical questions about the application may be sent to jkeranov@gmail.com.
Roles and account management
Each business tenant determines why and how its business and personnel data is used and acts as the data controller for that data. ByteEx Software operates StoreVision and its supporting services as a processor on the tenant's behalf and according to the tenant's instructions.
Tenant administrators create, manage and delete user accounts. StoreVision has no public or in-app account-registration flow and does not direct users to an external sign-up flow. Users should contact their tenant administrator for account access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests. The support email above is intended for technical questions and can direct a user back to the responsible tenant where necessary.
Data processed
Depending on a user's role and assigned work, StoreVision processes:
- account and profile data, including name, email address, role and tenant, company or client identifiers;
- authentication and security data, including access tokens, password-reset requests and signals used to detect login abuse;
- operational data, including assigned jobs, store and visit details, questionnaire answers, notes, report status and escalation information;
- user-submitted content, including photos, drawn signatures and voice recordings;
- foreground location, when permission is granted, to calculate distance to a job and provide directions; and
- notification data, including a Firebase Cloud Messaging token, Firebase installation identifier, platform and an app-generated installation/device identifier.
StoreVision does not request background location. Detailed device information shown in the in-app Device Info dialog is processed locally and is not sent to the StoreVision backend. StoreVision does not use advertising or behavioral analytics and does not sell personal data.
Purposes
The data is processed to authenticate authorized users; provide tenant-assigned jobs and workflows; calculate job distance and open directions; receive, review and manage reports; deliver operational notifications; provide technical support; and protect tenant accounts from login abuse. The tenant determines the applicable legal basis for its processing of user and operational data.
StoreVision does not maintain general behavioral or activity logs. Login-abuse signals may be processed to support automated protective actions, including temporarily disabling access.
Permissions and choices
- Location: used only in the foreground for distance and directions. When a user explicitly opens directions, origin and destination information may be passed to Google Maps. Users can deny location permission, with reduced or fallback functionality.
- Microphone: requested when a user chooses to record a voice memo.
- Camera/photos: used when a user chooses to attach evidence to a report.
- Notifications: used for operational updates such as job assignments and report-status changes. Users can disable notifications in device settings.
Recipients and service providers
Application data is accessible only within the relevant tenant according to tenant-managed roles and permissions. StoreVision uses:
- Google Cloud Platform in Europe for application hosting;
- PostgreSQL for application data storage;
- Google Cloud Storage for submitted photos, signatures and voice recordings;
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Firebase Installations for operational push notifications;
- ZeptoMail in Europe for transactional email delivery;
- Google Translate services for translation-related application functions; and
- Google Maps and platform geocoding services when a user requests location, address or directions functionality.
These providers process data to supply their contracted services. StoreVision does not share tenant data for advertising or independent marketing purposes.
Retention and deletion
Tenant data is retained while the tenant uses StoreVision. Tenant administrators control individual user accounts and may delete a user. The tenant determines how its associated operational business records are handled. When a tenant is offboarded, all of that tenant's StoreVision data, including accounts, reports and submitted files, is deleted. StoreVision does not maintain a separate application backup after deletion.
Security
The production application communicates with StoreVision services over HTTPS. Stored data is encrypted at rest. Tenant isolation and role-based access controls restrict application data to the applicable tenant. Automated protections may disable access when login abuse is detected.
No data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Users should notify their tenant administrator promptly if they suspect unauthorized account access.
Adults only
StoreVision is a business application intended for authorized adult users. It is not directed to children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the application, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version will be published at this address with its effective date.
